The morning started watching Star Wars with Benjamin (9 almost 10!) and him giving me a play by play of what I was watching! Was a special time! I said my goodbye to the Lieser family about 9. Within 15 minutes I was driving in the southbound lanes of the Sunshine Skyway Bridge, while the northbound lanes had 8,000 runners and school busses running shuttle service! Then it was on to meet up with Hilary Halterman Nelson and daughter Jemma at Cornerstone Church Lakewood Ranch for their 11 worship service. Great time in worship and appreciated Pastor Phil’s sermon, as well as sharing together the Lord’s Supper with part of the larger church family. Following the service I was given a personal tour of the church by Hilary, she is their Executive Administrator. Saw their framed in new sanctuary, they are in the midst of a capital fund campaign. We then went to lunch to Jemma’s favorite The Ford Garage. Hilary and I were able to share the adventures of being administrators at our churches, each able to identify with each others stories. Even though Hilary wasn’t “on duty” Sunday morning it warmed my heart to see her in action. She is highly thought of and deeply loved, which is not a surprise. After lunch I was able to stop by their home, given a grand tour by Jemma and order a smoothie from her smoothie bar! Oh the imagination of children! How I love it! Then a 2 hour drive back to Andrea’s before dark to watch several more episodes of Wicked Tuna!
