Hadn't expected to post tonight but Counting My Blessings...which I actually try to do every day. Will include a couple pictures from today:
- Morning walk in a park behind Janet's house...decided since so many hours were spent in the car yesterday I needed to get a little walking in...morning blessing was appreciating the quietness, beauty of this park.
- Evening more of the same where I met a special four legged creature that wondered up to about 10-15 feet from me, just quietly grazing...then I almost got lost on the path through the park, lucky I had my GPS and it remembered where I had parked last night!
- The park walks had me meeting Henry, 85 years old going on one of his two daily walks through the park this morning, Henry was from Tennessee; and this evening Jim and his wife and Jim had just retired June 30 as well (we congratulated each other) and he used to live in Ballard.
- Then tonight learned that Hiway 2/SR-172, I drove Hiway 2 late yesterday afternoon, got washed out late today. Originally I had planned on leaving Seattle today and arriving in Spokane tonight. Thank you Lord for your protection.
- Blessed by the opportunity to do what I love with a little dirt therapy pruning roses and deadheading geraniums...all while enjoying sweet fellowship with Janet. We had no shortage of conversation today!
- Thankful the temperature only hit 81 degrees today!
