Today was wedding day, celebrating with Matthew and Suzannah and their family and friends! Beautiful bride, such a special day! So glad my trip allowed me to be here to join in the celebration! Many of you might know Suzannah as she lived with me a couple of weeks a year ago June as she had graduated from Alaska Airlines flight attendant school. We became dear friends this last year! Wishing God’s blessing in many years to come!
The day ended with an hours drive back to Carol and Paul Rehm’s that included a a grand lightning ⚡️ show! Then high winds and rain throughout the night.
After a scrumptious breakfast and conversation with Paul and Carol it was time to hit the road heading to Albert City on a gray cloudy morning.
I sure don’t like all the dust that builds up on the car from the gravel roads! Have you heard of a Dutch Midwest car wash? “Quick! Heavy rains are coming! Get the cars out of the shed! Check which way the wind is blowing! Park at an angle to the wind and set the timer for one hour and switch! Next in 2 hours the car is clean!!!” Only one side of my car got cleaned cuz I didn’t yet know about the Dutch Car Wash!
