275 miles Frankenmuth > Port Huron > Niagara Falls
Another day of enjoying the Fall colors, I’ll never tire of it!
After enjoying a quick complimentary breakfast at the motel it was time to head out for 3 1/2 hr drive to the border and customs at Port Huran to get into Canada, 3-4 hour drive in Canada to view Niagara Falls from the Canada side…absolutely the right decision to see the falls from Canada side…the view was incredible, there are no words, the power, the majesty, WOW! Upon arriving the falls we took an Areo Ride several hundred feet above the water. Fun and informative. For awhile I thought maybe I would be viewing the falls from the car as we couldn’t find a place to park! Driving around one parking lot twice, then down to another, then back to the first and about the time I was ready to give up there was a place! I almost drove by it! By this time it was about 3pm and the crowds were beginning to thin out AND cool down from 85 degrees.
Then it was time to cross over the bride back to the USA and they customs, again only two cars in front of me, and they did have me pop the trunk but quickly closed it not finding anything exciting. Thank goodness for GPS that has done such a good job of getting me from place to place on 2 lane roads throughout the trip.
Pretty flowers on Canada side of Niagara Falls.
