Drove Alabama, Tennessee, Mississippi and Arkansas today.
But first my morning started with worship at Meadowbrook Church in Gadsden…good service, but first impression from a welcoming perspective =1 (greeted by person at the door but that was it, usually I do pretty good at engaging with people but just didn’t get the opportunity. People that came and sat beside me engaged immediately with the people behind us.) Music was good as well as the preaching. Then back to the hotel and time to hit the road…while driving attended First Baptist Woodbridge and then West Side.
Today I think I probably passed 100 Baptist churches! WOW! Not only is it the Bible Belt but the Baptist belt!
Lots of country living, saw one place with a bunch of individual cages on the ground of roosters and wondering if they were fighting roosters. I didn’t stop to ask!
Got across a bridge in Memphis 3 hours before it was going to be closing for 2 weeks! Whew!
No pictures today! Just those I hold in my mind!
