Hard time sleeping first few hours last night but then slept til 8:30, dark out shades are bad sometimes! You don’t know when it is morning! Quickly washed up, headed to breakfast, back to the room to shower, out to catch on/off trolley down to the lake/river front (still don’t know what it really is a lake or a river!) Took the path along the river for over a mile, sitting on a dock writing this, several boats on the river. Pleasant 68 degrees, high of 74, with thunder showers starting at 6. Walked under cloud cover but sun is now peeking through so warm but lots of clouds so walk back should be good. Met people from Texas, Arkansas and Arizona last night! Lady next to me has issues with the loudness of the concerts, she went to Pro Bass Shop and bought headphones that were helpful for her. Also if they started flashing the lights that could give her a migraine so she would look down and cover her eyes. Not sure I would go if I had all those issues but her advanced explanation helped when I saw in action headphones on and off, looking down and covering her eyes.
Currently I’m sitting on a dock listening to the birds, occasional boat goes by with fishermen. Very peaceful, good time for reflection and prayer.
Later today I’m headed to hear the Irish Tenors…
