March 13 - Branson Exploring & Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir

This morning started with a return to Dick’s 5 & 10 at 8:45 BEFORE the rest of the world! Heard on the trolley ride this afternoon that during the summer sometimes they have people lined up outside limiting the number inside! No thank you! Definitely not for me! Even today as we drive by this afternoon temperature 78 degrees! Again no thank you! Only 8:45 am with temps in the low 60s!

Next, trolley ride to riverside shopping street! Included first stop Bass Pro Shop of which I have driven by these everywhere from Seattle, East Coast, now Branson. Now I can say “been there, done that.” Check that off my bucket list! 😂 Did not make a purchase! Enjoyed a relaxed walk, window shopping, very slow relaxed walk thru a kitchen shop! Thought they had everything until someone came in looking for something very specific and they had to admit they DIDN’T have it! My kind of perfect weather a pleasant 72 degrees with a light breeze!

Relaxed for a couple hours in the hotel before heading out to evening concert with the Brooklyn Tabernacle Singers and a challenge and word from Pastor Jim Cymbala. Great music and testimony from the singers as well as challenge from Jim to be known as the “praying church”, not the music church, preaching church but the praying church. Wonderful time of fellowship meeting people from Texas, Arizona and Arkansas tonight. Good nourishment for the spirit and soul!
